  • Warrior Ridge Members Only Tour

We are excited to offer our members a special opportunity to join a guided hike on Warrior Ridge in Nine Mile Canyon the Sunday following Stewardship Day. This hike will last approximately six hours and provides a rare chance to experience one of the canyon’s most spectacular sites with the guidance of local experts.

Warrior Ridge is renowned for its dramatic rock imagery, including striking warrior figures and intricate panels that overlook sweeping canyon views. Nine Mile Canyon itself is often referred to as the “world’s longest art gallery,” with thousands of petroglyphs and pictographs that share the stories of the Indigenous peoples who called this place home. Hiking the ridge offers an unforgettable perspective on both the landscape and its history.

This is a challenging hike and can take up to 6 hours to complete. Please plan ahead by bringing plenty of water, food, sturdy hiking boots, and sun protection. For safety and preservation purposes, all participants must remain with the guides during the hike.

The group will meet at Nine Mile Ranch at 9:00 a.m. before heading out to the trailhead together.

Because space is limited, advance sign-up is required. Please note that this hike is open only to current members of the Nine Mile Canyon Coalition.
